Vrksasana

About the yoga classes:

 

The classes often start with some pranayama (breathing technique) practice that may continue after the asana (posture) work. Breath control is the first challenging part of the class developing concentration and body/breath awareness.
Continuing with loosening the joints and stretching/relaxing the muscles for a safe practice. Following that we work on strength through asanas and stamina with vinyasa flow (sequences). To gain the full benefit of yoga we have 10-15 minutes relaxation/meditation practice at the end of the session.

I teach yoga with the breath connection. This helps students to connect with their body and a tool to bring the mind to stillness.
